To be honest the best way for me to photograph a wedding is, as not as a “photo shoot”. It should feel more like you are hanging out with one of your friends who just happens to be a professional photographer. Villa Schönborn Wedding of amazing Giusi and Giuseppe was exactly like this and I loved it!
Nature is a huge part of my life, especially forest and mountains. I have never thought that I will actually live in a national park. Moreover, not just any other park but the Black Forest (Schwarzwald) itself. Since 2015, we are blessed to live at the northern part of it and I have totally fallen in love with this place. I did an engagement not far from my home, and I was really looking forward to photographing my first real Black Forest Wedding.
Have you ever been to Corsica? I think you should, simply Google it – it has such a fantastic mounty landscape, white sand beaches and old beautiful cities. Meanwhile, take a look at some of the images from my Corsica (France) wedding shooting, that I took during the wedding photography workshop which we organized together with Aida & Tim.
Right after we landed at Bastia, rented a car and went to Calvi, I fell in love with this incredible island. Above all, I like mountains, forest and sea – Corsica has it all! In my opinion, it is a great location for a wedding or an adventurous elopement.
Man, I can’t tell you enough how much I loved this Corsica elopement photo shoot! In other words, everything was exactly how I like it, everything was just perfect: our wonderful Bella & Ben (just real and fun married couple, with no modeling experience except for our first shooting day in Corsica) did such a great job, it was so easy to photograph their love and feelings to each other. Most importantly, they were open and did not care much about a camera pointed in their direction.
From the first moments at the Faroe Islands I felt like I am at another planet… Everything is different, everything is shocking beautiful… and calm. I couldn’t be more excited about our 4 day Faroe Islands adventurous elopement! This was definitely an adventure!
Lera & Jura wanted to do something special after their official wedding at home,.. something, that they would remember for the rest of their lives. And I am very grateful they asked me to tell their story with my camera. It is a beautiful, intimate and a fun one. Join us through the 4 Parts of our journey!
Welcome back! (I guess you have already seen The First Part, however if you didn’t – definitely go check it out before you continue reading this post). The second part of our Faroe Islands adventurous wedding shooting takes us through the wonderful locations of this incredible place. This time it is all about the white dress, messy hair and amazing view.
Firstly, we are heading to the Dúvugarðar at Saksun, where a beautiful valley ends with a blue lake. In addition to this, the send on the beaches of this lake has a quite unique grey-black color…
