Step 1:

Scheduling Your Session

In order to reserve a date, you will need to pay a session fee of 150€. If we haven’t already, the easiest way to compare calendars is for you to email or call me with a few dates that work for you – I always try to be as flexible as possible, and once we find a date, I will send you an invoice with the confirmation of your date.

As you pull out your calendar, here are a few things to consider:

      • Weekend dates are limited and popular, and thus incur a 50€ charge in addition to your choice of collections.
      • If you have a particular date or holiday by which you need prints or gifts (Christmas, etc.), be sure to book a date at least one month in advance of that date to ensure sufficient processing and printing time.
      • A great time of day that gives us great light is late afternoon/early evening… usually around 1.5 hours before sunset.
      • Beautiful photographs can be made in any kind of weather, but I understand that there are some downsides to being photographed in the pouring rain or the freezing cold. I can and do reschedule sessions for inclement weather, but am also happy to use your home if sticking to the schedule is a priority.

Step 2:

The Session Itself

Once we’ve decided on a time and date and officially put your session on the books, I’ll send you a getting ready guide that will walk you through everything including choosing outfits.

That guide has been created and refined over years of experience, so it typically answers 90% of the questions that come up, but I’m always happy to set up a time to chat if you want additional help.

A few days before our session is scheduled, I’ll reach out to confirm our time and location… at that point, if the forecast is questionable or someone seems to be coming down with the flu, we can talk about our rescheduling options. Otherwise, that’s the perfect time to ask any last-minute questions or let me know if you’ve come up with a fun idea we haven’t discussed.

The day of the session, please block off 2-2.5 hours. Typically, we’re done within 90 minutes or so, but I don’t charge by the hour, so if there’s some kind of wardrobe malfunction or location change, I like to stay flexible. Finally, take a breath and relax… I promise I will do everything to make this time easy and stress-free for you!

Step 3:

The Fun Part!

Within just a couple of weeks of your session, you’ll receive an email from me letting you know that your photos are ready. Once you’ve had a chance to see them and marvel for a bit, you’ll let me know which package you want to purchase.

After that, you’ll have a full month to select the specific digital files and print items you want to use to fill that package… zero pressure! If you would need some help in choosing the right products for you, I’m more than happy to help you with it.

What you’re going to do with your images is perhaps the most important aspect to consider when you’re planning for a photo session, but it’s all too often the aspect that’s overlooked…

All that time and money invested deserve a better return than photos gathering dust on a hard drive somewhere. You’ll never get the same feeling looking at your photos on a screen as you will seeing them on your wall or flipping through the pages of an album. That is why I include a print credit with every package. Below is a sample of some of the items you can choose among:

After Wedding Shooting In Pforzheim, Schwarzwald – Julia & Manu

There is no limit to what is possible in wedding photography, only our imagination. There is no standard or template that we have to follow. We can do anything, literally anything we want: we can travel across the world to a once-in-a-lifetime location or we can choose a nearby forest. This is all up to us, this is all up to you.

Sardinia (Italy) Destination Engagement Shoot

When I was getting my engineering degree (yes, I studied for almost 6 years in a tech university, however never worked as an engineer ever after, but this is a different story) I met Lisa and we became very good friends through all the study time. My passion for photography started back in those days and Lisa always told me that I should photograph her wedding when she will have one. Sure! But, you know how the life is, we moved to different countries and did not have many opportunities to meet.

Meanwhile, I got a text from her boyfriend Andrew and imagine my surprise when he asked me if I were willing to make a Sardinia (Italy) engagement shoot for them! Certainly I am! We have fixed the date and I went to Cagliari.

Faroe Islands Adventurous Elopement – Part 3

The previous parts (Part 1 & Part 2) of our Faroe Islands Adventurous Elopement were about intimacy and a extravagant white wedding dress. This time let’s bring some color to our story! Most importantly, I would like to give credit to Lera & Jura for bringing 3 different outfits to such a remote place and carrying them all the time around. In addition, I must say they are not models and have never done a shooting like this before. However, they did an amazing job and tried everything I asked them to. Guys, you are are awesome! Certainly, I am looking forward to our next adventure together.
